As we edge closer to the autumnal months, more and more anticipation is surfacing around what are going to be this season's biggest trends.

Rather than categorising this week's wishlist by store, I'll be showcasing what's available in numerous stores in reference to specific trends and items.

knee high boots

@fayepmills

As opposed to previous seasons which have showcased alternative knee-high boot styles, this year's more prominent style is Western inspired and just below the knee.

I love this style of boot in classic black, however the white/cream colour-way provides a stand-out pop of colour amongst darker outfits during AW.

PLT and Public Desire have a number of differentiated styles of this type of boot.

cropped blazers

I really love cropped blazers as a transitional piece, having versatility in their shapes, fabrics, sleeves and colours. They're an innovative alternative to the heavily sought after boyfriend-fit oversized blazer which has proven its popularity in past seasons.

nude wide leg trousers

I have recently ordered this nude pair of wide leg trousers from Motel Rocks and I love them - they're super comfortable and versatile. I can already see myself styling these in numerous ways this season as they fit right into the neutral style I love.

Here are some alternatives I found:

platform ankle boots

With a more grungey take on a Chelsea style boot, platform ankle boots are a must-have in my wardrobe this season. For me, this style is also a more wearable version of the classic Doc Marten.

@ouroutfitsaday

I love the pairing of these Docs with this shacket.
