Whether you prefer to dress up for your Christmas celebrations or go for comfy and casual, (the vibe I personally sway towards every year...), I have created 3 looks for different occasions - from drinks with family and friends to winter walks and cosy nights in.
ONE

Whilst trying to balance elements of comfort and style, I feel like a leather trouser styled up with a comfy, light top is the way forward.

My Outfit:

I've picked out this tan pair of wide leg leather trousers from Motel Rocks, opting for something a little different other than a standard straight-leg black pair.

To match, I've opted for this basic ribbed knit top from NA-KD. I've been loving this style of top recently, with it having the ability to be dressed both up and down.
I love the contrast in fabric between the thin knit and the leather wide legs!
To elevate these two base pieces, I've picked a pair of scrappy heels to tie in with the white of the top, and a brown shoulder bag to run with the neutral colour palette.

I absolutely love the simplicity in this look whilst still being super chic and put together - I'm jumping at any opportunity to dress up right now!

With comfort being key to this look, the pieces I've picked are exactly that whilst still being on trend.
My Outfit:

This coat is the perfect mix of a teddy/borg vibe within a puffer style! I haven't seen anything quite like this yet this season, and it looks super comfortable and warm - perfect for walks in the winter weather.
For the base, I've paired this khaki set from Zara's contour collection. I've been loving this colour right now, I think it's the perfect contrast against the cream/off-white colours in the coat, adding a muted pop of colour.

As an extra layer I've chosen this tan zip up hoodie from Nu-In to add to the earthy tones in the look and provide some extra warmth.
THREE
christmas/boxing day/cosy night in
When I think of Christmas Day outfits, knit is the first thing that comes to mind. I personally opt for comfort over anything - there's nothing worse than having no extra room in your jeans after eating Christmas dinner...
Having said this, knits are of course not limited just to Christmas Day - they're perfect to chuck on for days and nights in during the winter whilst looking put together!

My Outfit:
Here are a few knit dresses and co-ords I've found:

I love pairing jumper dresses and knit co-ords with black ankle boots, such as these from H&M:
I'm also loving the styling of long boots with shorter knit dresses and co-ords.
These welly-style khaki Zara boots have flown off the shelves, however the style is easily replicable with a platform black leather high-knee boot:
